I've still been recouperating, avoiding the cold, and otherwise having to put up with the rolling racket outside while the Farmers Branch Police refuse to do much of anything resembling WORK.
The worst event was on December 21, 2013 at around 9:30 p.m. Someone, I'm guessing in my building, had hired one of those limousine buses, aka party van. Well, the bass started thumping just as I got off the phone with the police, and I did hear someone talking in that area. After they left, the last few days, the Upstairs Stomper is acting all butt-hurt, making lots and lots of noise. The noises the Upstairs Stomper has been making have been disturbing my kitten, so they're not imaginary folks.
I want to know why the crap we're forced to pay property taxes for "services" that aren't performed uniformly. Sure, fine. Protect the area businesses. Big whoop when you've got boom, boom, scream, party, boom, boom, boom and people almost being run over by idiots. How do you think the big cheese at DoubleTree is going to feel if the cops aren't around when he's almost flattened by some drunken party idiot from Ghettoville?
I'd think taking proactive action at the problem areas would be more effective than just patrolling the businesses to keep them "safe". And when I say "problem areas," I'm referring to Courtyards at Valley View and London Square Apartments.
The parking lot partying is on the rise, Farmers Branch. Quit dropping the ball on this.

December 16, 2013 -- Today's Noise Report
At 9:16 a.m. and 10:59 a.m., two different vehicles were playing their stereos too loud as they rolled through the parking lot. We're talking of a volume level that would make the glass panes in the windows vibrate. And FBPD, whose officers claim they handle violations like that are nowhere to be found. Again.
Around 11:45 a.m., two men were having a loud altercation over $10 being owed.

My Current Absence
Well, if it wasn't ice, snow and frozen yuck that I didn't want to walk through, it was another sinus infection and some kind of lingering nastiness that makes me cough uncontrollably.
Given those circumstances, I think it's understandable why I felt reporting the continued outdoor noise levels was less important. When I mention the outdoor noise levels, I'm referring to the people playing their stereos too loud while in the parking lot. It's on the rise--as many as half a dozen incidents a day. Very ghetto.
And if the cops really were patrolling, they ought to start ticketing some of the party animals outside. It's not like they can't fall back to their "but I didn't see/hear anything" excuse when it's going on out in the freaking PARKING LOT, so FBPD must not be patrolling.

December 3, 2013 -- Rolling Racket Continues
Another incident occurred at 9:37 p.m. Again, it was a loud vehicle stereo thump, thump, booming away.
The cops do nothing, and I suspect they never will. They've got the taxpayer by the neck, bleeding them dry of money, and not providing that "serve and protect" the cops are SUPPOSED to do. Nope. No one is safe in Farmers Branch, TX.

December 3, 2013 -- More Parking Lot Loud Music
At 10:49 a.m., I heard someone play their stereo in their vehicle much too loud. It has to be loud to be heard through a flipping brick wall. Where's FBPD? Off playing in the donut shop? It's not like they uphold the law around Farmers Branch, TX. I think it's an established fact, given how they've mishandled things at London Square Apartments for MONTHS now.

Huh. The Hits Come In
Nearly 150 hits today, after having several days of not posting. Not bad. That's a pretty good spike, all things considered.
So that's 150 others checking out the blog and seeing what a sorry joke we have for "police enforcement" in Farmers Branch, TX. They can see the cops have "tools" that they don't even want the people using. They can see the cops discriminate and violate rights. They play favorites and punish the mentally disabled for hearing and sensing vibrations that are very, very real.
Would a band of outlaws be less hostile than FBPD? I wonder.

My Most Recent Absence
Sinus infection. Fever. And right at this moment, coughing like I'm trying to hack up a hairball. But I'm healthy enough to get out.
At least I'm not getting out to get away from my tormentors that FBPD thought were imaginary. They moved and took their wall-shaking thumps, bangs, bumps, and drumming with them. I'm having a cynical laugh at FBPDs' blazing foolishness by pissing away easy money like that for MONTHS. Nope. It's much easier for incompetent and unprofessional government twits like them to discriminate and violate American rights.
The fact the Banging Brood has moved doesn't mean I'll stop the blog. The police still fail to do anything about the loud stereos wandering through the parking lot. And there was a cop one time that SWORE to me that they do something about loud music. Bull. They can witness loud car stereos just as easily as anyone else at London Square Apartments. But the cops won't do squat, which is what I've come to expect from them--a total waste of taxpayer money.
You'd think that a place that's reported to have the random carjacker would have increased patrols. Oh well.

It's official. The Banging Brood has left. And with them the thunderous racket they tortured me with since July 2, 2013.
That doesn't excuse FBPD for their lack of action though. Not after blaming my mental illness as the sole cause for the noises they CLAIM could not be corroborated. You know, it helps if you actually talk to people that you didn't see just come home. It also helps if you have chronic liars evaluated by experts instead of putting all the blame on me. Idiots. They're fools for not writing citations or doing to the Banging Brood what they did to me--haul them away for a psychiatric evaluation and some "cool down time" for seven days.
Aside from some thumps coming from upstairs and from the Pantry Punishers, it's been blissfully quiet. I've been able to ENJOY movies again (at a volume not exceeding 20 out of 100) without those little monsters pounding the wall.
