October 19, 2013 -- Deliberate Banging from Banging Brood

I'd just gotten back home from errand running at 7:20 p.m.

At 7:33 p.m., the Banging Brood made at least 12 hard blows on the wall we share between bedrooms.  The wall shook from the blows.

Then at 7:47 p.m., there was another thump from them.

At 7:48 p.m., the Banging Brood shook the wall again with one hard thump and made at least another 12 drum-like blows.

Around 7:52 p.m., I could swear I heard a male voice speaking unintelligibly.  Then at 7:52 p.m., one of the brats over there started screaming and crying, because someone probably told the little monster "no".

Then at 8:49 p.m., there was a loud thump that shook the shared wall again.

At 8:56 p.m., ther were two rapid bumps on the shared wall.

So, Mr. Pills, does THIS description sound like it's "normal apartment living" to you?  Wait until you read the article for TODAY (10-20-2013).

October 19, 2013 -- More Noise and Music from Upstairs Stomper

From 12:24 p.m. to 12:44 p.m., the Upstairs Stomper (and his dog) were making quite a bit of scraping, banging, stomping and bumping.  I could tell, because the vibrations were coming down from overhead.

Then from 12:46 until I left home at about 3:30 p.m., the Upstairs Stomper decided to play loud music.  It was loud enough to hear it echo from the building across the quad, but I know the music came from upstairs because of the vibrations.

So why not call the cops?  Why bother?  They can't even get the right address and they'll somehow be "unable to hear anything" even after being told how they can hear it for themselves.  I don't bleeding care that they've told me they take care of loud music.  They don't do jack when I complain about ANYTHING.

Nooooo....  They're hoping that it gets so bad that I move into a house.  It's like I just poop money, you know?  I just sit on the toilet and out it comes, money, money everywhere.  And with that magical poop money, I can do whatever I want, including instantly packing up and leaving.  Just like snapping your fingers easy.

It must be fantastic, this fantasy world the FBPD lives in.  I'm stuck in the real world though.  And the real world doesn't cut me breaks like that.  Never has, and never will.

Just because they can get away with robbing the taxpayers by not enforcing the law for everyone, they think they're just so peachy keen better than the rest of us.  Taxpayers probably don't even know that they pay FBPD to play favorites, to discriminate, to intimidate, and in exchange, the cops can move into houses of their own.  Brag, brag, freaking brag.

How long before the taxpayers think they don't need FBPD any longer?  Maybe when there are blatant drug deals and prostitutes trolling on their own street corners daily?

October 19, 2013 -- More Proof that Farmers Branch, TX is Becoming more Ghetto

At 11:18 a.m. and 1:38 p.m., respectively, a car alarm sounded.  Each time, it sounded for maybe 20 to 30 seconds.

What's the big deal about car alarms?  Well, when I moved into London Square Apartments back in 2007, you didn't ever HEAR car alarms going off in the area.  But you do now.  And they've become necessary in the area, it would seem.

That's getting pretty ghetto, when you hear car alarms on a more frequent basis.

October 19, 2013 -- More Heard from Banging Brood

At 3:24 a.m., the Banging Brood woke me up by hitting the shared wall hard.

Then they banged hard again at 7:21 a.m.

Finally, at 10:52 a.m., the Banging Brood were in the "dining area" of their apartment, beating the snot out of the shared wall.  I was in my own "dining area" to complete a craft project I've been meaning to finish: a cover for my Kindle.  So while my searching did create some noise, it wasn't in any way supposed to annoy the Banging Brood.

You know, the FBPD really, really needs to explain it to "Mommy" and the little monster pack that the "big bad neighbor" is merely trying to LIVE IN HER APARTMENT AND IS NOT TRYING TO BOTHER ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're the little terrors that need to hear the "sales pitch" about how you can't have an over-abundance of quiet in an apartment.

But noooooo....  It's the mentally-disabled they have to tell this to, and the neighbors' little demons can just do as they please.  Discimination.

October 18, 2013 -- Peace and Quiet Ruined by Banging Brood

At 9:26 p.m., the Banging Brood (who had been deliciously quiet lately) decided to make the bedroom wall shake with one hard blow.

It would seem they want my attention again.  Sad.  Shouldn't they be getting attention from their "Mommy," instead of making more grief for her?  I wouldn't be surprised that if the cops had been called, "Mommy" would either "play asleep," or they'd blame the Upstairs Stompers' dog.

October 18, 2013 -- Upstairs Stomper's "Act of Dog" and Another Rant about FBPD

About 11:40 a.m., I heard the dog in the Upstairs Stomper's apartment bark a bit and thump about.  The dog sounded excited.

Now an "act of dog" isn't a cause for police involvement, mind you.  But this is the only thing noteworthy of being reported, and I'm glad for it, really.

However, I'd like to refute Mr. Buzz Cut's (the police officer with Mr. Pills on October 14, 2013) comment about how you can't get quiet in an apartment complex.  Bull.  It was so quiet last night that I didn't recognize it at first.  That's how noisy it's been since July 2nd, 2013.  It was quite pleasant to have a night and a morning of respite from the banging, stomping, scraping, hammering, drumming, thumping...

It's really a shame it couldn't have come much sooner and without having to go to these lengths to obtain said quiet.  I never should have been left feeling that I had to do things myself, because the cops weren't willing to enforce the noise ordinance LAW that is STATE LAW.

First the cops acted like apartment complexes are their own little kingdoms where the cops have zero jurisdiction.  But that was only with regards to what I was reporting, mainly about a "single mother" with five kids.

When I was carrying around the baseball bat for SELF-PROTECTION (and it was only reported TWO TIMES), they came in there all cowboy-blazing-saddle-to-save-the-day-and-stop-a-"terrorist" by taking her away to the hospital.

No, no Federal involvement, and if it WERE a "terrorist threat," then Homeland Security would have me shackled in chains and wearing a millstone around my neck.

So there you have it--playing favorites, discrimination, very Anti-American Human Rights Violations, and intimidation.  That's the Farmers Branch Police Department in a nutshell.

Recap of how FBPD has Harmed Me

I thought, given that some of you just happened to "wander in" on my blog and you have no idea what the snap is going on, I'd give you a brief-ish recap of what the Farmers Branch Police Department has or hasn't done, and how their actions (or inactions) inflicted harm.

Problem: Neighbors making noise
Number of Incidents Reported: Over 12

What Cops Did: No effective action taken
Harm Done: Still being harassed since July 2, 2013

Problem: Me carrying baseball bat for self-protection
Number of Incidents Reported: Only 2
What Cops Did: Hauled me in to hospital
Harm Done: Endangered lives of kitties and self, threatened loss of apartment, threatened loss of belongings, interrupted disability process, missed appointments that were important, not permitted to protect self from physical harm, not allowed to protect home from break-ins, labeled a "terrorist"--slander, denied Freedom of Speech, denied Second Amendment Rights, Unlawful seizure of firearm--another Right violated, discrimination--childless through abstinence (cops favor mother with five children instead) and mentally disabled, lied to, intimidated, bullied, fear, extreme stress, mental/emotional anguish, physical health deteriorating as result of "stress eating", sleep deprivation

Problem: Almost run over by truck
Number of Incidents Reported: Zero--cops won't do anything about it anyway
What Cops Did: None--didn't bother reporting it, since FBPD is as useless as adobe in a rainforest during rainy season
Harm Done: Threat to physical well-being has not been stopped, faith in FBPD demolished beyond repair, unsafe living conditions at complex

Problem: Fingerprints on window
Number of Incidents Reported: 1 to City Manager (was forwarded to Chief of Police and duly ignored by FBPD); 1 to FBPD after leaving hospital
What Cops Did: Ignored during the Chief of Police incident; was explained logically and reasonably on second incident
Harm Done: Can't trust the FBPD to do anything about it, criminal responsible could still be out there, fear, unsafe living environment at complex

And this is why I gripe so much about FBPD and Farmers Branch, TX.  Their "officers" are fond of telling me "what they do," but when it comes to "walking the walk," they're all lacking.  I need to see them take appropirate measures, not just talk.  And even if they go into "Mr. Fixit" mode, they've done NOTHING about the harm they've already inflicted upon me.
