At 8:56 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., I saw two squad cars headed toward the FBPD station. One was headed down Alpha Rd., and the other down Valley View Ln.
Let's see... Taxpayers have to fund those fancy traffic cameras, probably pay for those little "you are speeding" electronic signs that they set up on occasion, and now the Dallas area has a new program. This program is designed for people with smartphones to snap a picture of code violations and send it in to the police.
All of this is taxpayer-funded.
So why in the heck do we have to pay for old-fashioned "driving a squad car" when I've already established the fact that FBPD doesn't write tickets, and no doubt doesn't do anything about more serious crimes either?
Now I'll admit that London Square Apartments has improved since I started blogging about the problems. But that's been through management's efforts, not the uniformed beauty pageant, aka Farmers Branch Police.
