And here I was hoping that maybe I wouldn't be blogging about how Farmers Branch, TX is becoming a ghetto. I'm way too optimistic for my own good these days. Sigh.
It all started at 12:20 p.m. today. I'd gotten home around noon and had 20 minutes of peace and quiet. Then the Upstairs Stomper realized I was home. I heard six stomps and then the door slammed.
At 12:24 p.m., there was another door slam.
Then at 12:55 to 1:10 p.m., I could hear a man and a woman argue from Upstairs Stomper's apartment.
Then at 1:23 p.m., they cranked up the music in the bedroom area.
At 1:36 p.m., the Upstairs Stomper made two other stomps.
From 1:38 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., the music was still playing at 2:15 p.m. when I left. But it had been off when I had first returned home. Then they turned it on again upstairs (in bedroom area).
This is clearly a deliberate act. I generally hang out in my bedroom. They know this. The stomping is also deliberate, because when they want to "get my attention," they do it. When they think I'm not there, they are as quiet as mice upstairs.
At 1:56 p.m., I counted maybe eight deliberate stomps.
Then at 2:07 p.m., the Upstairs Stomper family decided to bicker again.
When I'd returned at 3:30 p.m., there were six more deliberate stomps.
3:44 to 4:14 p.m. (when I left to go blogging), the music and stomping was still going on.
To any officers reading this blog: You know where I live. So you know who the Upstairs Stomper is without listing his apartment number, because his is directly over mine. You should consider this a complaint and go warn them to knock off the music. I would rather not have another repeat of October 25, 2013, when they decided to be disobedient and act like they could get away with not listening to you (by moving their music to the other side of the bedroom, but left it playing).
