But only a slight apology. The issue is about the baseball bat. I was moving some stuff around and found it, so the FBPD did *not* confiscate it as I'd thought (because when I got home from the hospital, the bat wasn't where I left it).
So my apologies for that.
However, FBPD was the one that said they had the bat and my gun when I asked for both items to be returned. (Oh Really, FBPD?) You guys might actually want to work on your internal communication better.
As for the gun, I voluntarily surrendered it when the cop I spoke with on the evening of September 27, 2013 said it was not being seized for evidence in any way. So you see, I'm still not pleased with what can be reasonably seen as a bald-faced LIE on FBPD's end.
There's also the matter of the months of harm that have been done to me, both from neighbors and by FBPD's colossal blundering.
I'd still like to know how a gun with no ammo is considered a "terrorist threat"? Without the money to buy a truckload of ammo, it's a very expensive paperweight. Or a collectable. But not a "terrorist threat".
My property should be released to me, and this horse-drabble about "terroristic threats" dropped. You guys know how to contact me. You were able to ring my cell phone to bits when your fashion models in uniform hauled me away September 30, 2013. So you've proven you know how to contact me.
Your lack of acceptable, timely action on your part suggests that you INTEND to steal my gun from me. Is it because it's the kind that FBPD uses and you want a "free gun" for a new hire? You could at least have the DECENCY to offer me money for it if you want it so flipping bad.
I know common sense is a rarity among your police department, but maybe you should find someone with half a brain to communicate with me?
